Day 1
TUESDAY   Arrived in Bilbao and off ferry just after 07.00.Got a long drive to first site, about 350 miles but all day to do it,first Spanish hols for 3 years so going to enjoy it,right?
Wrong! About 30 mins from Altomira, battery light came on,decided to carry on to site then steering started to get heavy.Got set up on pitch then found out a belt had snapped.Towed to garage next morning, turns out power steering pump had broke the pulley.Cant be fixed until friday.C&M club have been brilliant, liased with the garage.
However Friday came no word,Monday, still no word, club kept in touch and rang the garage and lo and behold vehicle was done Tuesday dinner time.So now €800 poorer, but many thanks to Christine & Brittany at C&M club.
Day 2 Wednesday water pump packed in,luckily we had spare.
Day 4 Friday. Water hose reel fell and broke in half,no big deal but annoying.
Day 11 Friday. Jockey wheel came loose and hit speed bump, completely smashed, managed to get another wheel from B&Q like store.
Day 13 Sunday Moving on to Dequesa tomorrow so hopefully troubles are over .We are here for another 5 weeks.Surely nowt else can go wrong hopefully.

Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!

Yeayh,

What an adventure, and how resilient you are.

I hope you took lots of pictures, so that you can look back on these times fondly.

You know if you do a blog, people would love to follow your adventures.

By the way, how are you finding the heatwave?

Touch wood everything has been OK for the last 4 week.We are now at Caceres heading for the ferry next Friday.
When we were at La Dequesa the temperature hit over 90 some days, had to stay in the shade or in the pool, not complaining about that.
First week and half was stressful but since then we've had a great time.

Wild guess but I am guessing that is 90F and not 90C? didn't know people still used Fahrenheit especially in Spain. LOL!

In the USA, they only use Fahrenheit for their weather reports.
