Hi Median, you can look at Camping Les Terres Rouges at Clérey - about 8 miles south of Troyes. It’s a two star site, quite simple, not posh, but nicely placed beside a lake.
If you want a bigger, dearer site with swimming pools, water slides and so on then look at Camping Lac d’ Orient instead.

According to the Troyes campsite webpage http://www.troyescamping.net/ It seems the site is no longer a campsite and the staff all work somewhere else. Shame really as we used it often in the past.

We used to use the municipal in Troyes quite often. It was a handy point on the journey and also we could walk into town or somewhere for a meal.
Since it has been closed we have gone a little further and used Lac d'Orient.

We've used the site in Troyes several times, but the last couple of times we pushed on for another 100km or so to Langres & stayed at Camping Navarre.
