Hello all ,you lovely people,could help me,me and my partner are going to a festival in leaven Belgium (south east of Brussels)from.30/06 ,looking to get ferry over 26th so looking for campsite for our tent,found this one in Normandy but looks to far away,and limits where I would get ferry,

A little puzzled by your post, why would you be looking in Normandy if the festival is near Brussels? I would have thought the easiest would be to travel Dover/Calais and there would be lots of sites for you to choose from between there and Brussels. Are you looking for a short stay before travelling on to Brussels or somewhere to stay while you are at the festival?

Big wide sandy beach?
Swimming pools and water slides?
Big city/ small town?
World War 1?
World War 2?
Ancient Castles?
Somewhere to dump the kids while you get drunk for 4 days?
Somewhere quiet with no children where you can sip chilled white wine in peace?
The chance to go on a boat trip on the River Seine?
Amazing seafood in the Bai de la Somme?
Chance to view the place where Monet painted boats on the beach ?
(He didn't paint the actual boats, he painted a picture with boats in it.)
Tell us what you want and we'll push you in the right direction.

Hi Bramston,nice beach,would be nice but not essential,river or lake would be just as good,maybe close to village or small town,to walk for restaurant or one on campsite.kids have all grown up ,and would probably dump me,chilling and drinking wine is nice,small pool might be nice but not essential,just chilling ,nice village to walk around,more importantly nice site,oh and seafood does sound nice,

It’s a good campsite, but its in the wrong direction for your festival near Brussels and adds 150 miles driving . In the direction you need to go there are miles of big beaches in Belgium - try places like De Haan and Blankenberge, or just over the Dutch border to the site at Sluis.
