Does Rouen now require a Crit air certificate, I saw on a map that it does but I now can’t find the website I saw it on.
Thanks

I've had a bit of a google and it appears to only be commercial vehicles at the moment. For what a sticker costs though...

Barry, If you can’t find the info you only need to type Crit Air Rouen in your internet search box.

Think this is the web site that you need to see. Use google translate plug in to do a 'on the fly' translation to English if need be.

https://rouen.fr/zfe

Whilst there are only a handful of towns with permanent Emission Zones of varying stringency, Rouen seems only to be commercial vehicles normally, but depending on how you read the web site, it looks as if that can become more restrictive in times of high pollution.

There is also legislation in place that means temporary Zones can pop up in a great many more places if local pollution levels rise, so for under £5 incl P&P to UK it seems a no brainer just to get a sticker then not have to worry about it (assuming your vehicle can get the appropriate level sticker). I got one because whilst my trip to France next week didn't take me into any permanent zones, it did potentially take me into temporary 'pop-up' zones which are much bigger areas than the permanent zones, so a long way around to avoid.

The French Government Crit Air website, has an official English version, and the whole application can be done in English, takes a couple of weeks or so for sticker to arrive. https://www.certificat-air.gouv.fr/
Use only the official Government web site to apply, 'unofficial' sites exist that charge fees on top of fixed costs!
