Hi guys we are arriving in Roscoff 8.30 in the evening can anyone advise on a campsite near that does late arrivals or is there somewhere safe we can park for the night,,, any advice would be appreciated
Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
The municipal site at Plougoulm, Camping le Bois de la Palud, has no barrier and no resident warden so you can go in then pay the lady when she arrives in the morning .
You can e mailCamping Trologot at St Pol deLeon and ask about late arrival.
I’ve always stayed in the Service stations on the motorway
I find them convenient and they have all you need.
And they don’t charge, unlike our services😡.
Some are all singing and dancing, others not so much.
Not sure if you’ll be on the French motorway system, but if so, that’s my recommendation.

As there isn’t a motorway service station within 200 miles of Roscoff your plan falls flat.
we're going beginning of September to a site just outside Chateaulin, Camping La Pointe. It's 47 miles from Roscoff, just over an hour. It's run by a nice English couple and I'm sure they could accommodate a late arrival. If you go there, you probably won't want to leave.
We are doing the overnight ferry which makes life easier, particularly after the five or six hour drive down to Plymouth.

You used to be able to park overnight at the ferry terminal worth checking if you still can. The times we've done that the car park was busy with others doing the same so always felt safe.

Well Netherton, thats told me.
Please read posts before your keyboard warrior side takes over.
As stated in my post
Not sure if youll be on the French motorway system.
Also my plan doesnt fall flat.
Ill be no where near Roscoff.
But thanks for the time and effort.
Im sure you feel fully content.
