Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
So I'm assuming you are a member of the Camping & Caravanning Club, by any chance are you a member of the CAMC.
Red Pennant with them is just over £150 for 24 days.

Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
We use Driver Guardian, who are up front with what is covered in terms of car and caravan, but their policy is an annual one which covers us for the UK too - for less than you've been quoted.
But we store our caravan in France, so our needs in terms of 'being towed back' are very different, and so we don't need a bells and whistles insurance policy.

Another one to look at is Eurobreakdown - they offer three levels of cover depending how risk averse you are - but their middle level is quoting me £68 for three weeks for car and caravan.
Repatriation of vehicle is not a given. For example if it breaks down mid hol & a local repair regardless of cost is available then that’s it even if repair cost is more than vehicle is worth.
------------- Every day should be a holiday!

In the UK, Yes. In France, No. No issues - fast response, problem dealt with, back on the road.
