We always use the Eurotunnel travel and breakdown insurance. I don't buy at time of booking tickets though. Just tried to purchase now and told they no longer sell it after booking, you must purchase at same time as booking tickets.

So, I'm looking for recommendations for both travel and breakdown cover. The car is new and covered under Skoda assist but we need cover for 'van. I often use the post office for travel insurance but would prefer joint, will split if have to.

Banks offer a goody package with current accounts. Travel insurance and breakdown insurance are part of it and represent good value.

We used them in the past and they were by far the cheapest option but they only go up to age 80.
