Just had email from ACSI saying the 2023 price is going up to €21.94 (exc. delivery) for the subscription with app.

Seems a hefty hike on the face of it, but having said that, for our recent 16 nighter in early June, (3 different sites) ACSI saved us around €70 (from memory) compared to Joe Public prices, so I guess we shouldn't complain.

... and... we may well yet save further still, as we return to France for another 14 nights (at least) in September.

If they have increased the price,you can bet they have increased the advertising cost for the campsites.

I don't care about the price rise, I saved more than that fee in just one night on our recent trip, Joe Public price €42 per night, ACSI price €18 per night.

The ACSI card represents exceptional value to those travelling out of high season!

Like I said,I bet they have raised the prices for campsites to advertise. If it rises to much many won’t sign up.

The rise is probably due to the fact that a large amount of paper is sourced from Russia. The current situation restrict world supply and cause prices to rocket.

I shudder to think what the print runs would be like for ACSI with all its language editions.

When I was a publisher, one of my magazines had a circulation of over 1 million. We used just under 2 tonnes of newsprint for each page printed and the average issue was over 200 pages. ACSI will have additional set-up costs for each language edition as well as additional editorial staff wages.

For us the cover price of the magazine covered about 23% of our costs and we had to get the rest from advertising.

I think it will remain extremely good value for money as you are likely to have recouped your outlay after 4 or 5 nights.

We have had 5 weeks in France all but 5 days on ACSI so saved a lot of money,no crowded sites and few kids. I will be ordering next years!
