We’re looking for somewhere to store our caravan , preferably south of Paris, so we can pick it up for the last leg of the journey. Ideally somewhere near the autoroute which would also provide an annual service.
Does anyone have any recommendations please?

Hiya, you could look at Forest View in Dorceau, Normandy

Not sure if that is the right area though

Cheers Ratty

Get in touch with Kris from Caravan Help Abroad. He does servicing at a variety of storage sites and may know somewhere with space. We store ours on a site in the Ardeche and Kris serviced it earlier this year even though it's not one of his regular places. We were fortunate that he was passing nearby on the way between jobs. . Perhaps that's a bit far south for you? If not message me via my profile email.

Hi,
We store at Domaine de St Pierre in Vias. Again maybe too far south. Kris from caravan help abroad services in the area around April. Very impressed with him & his wife is very helpful if you email/ring

We have one in store in Deux Sevres and I know that Kris visits there.

The caravan club website lists a few.

We looked at Forest View earlier this year, but they say that they only store for people who are using their site. As we wanted to use our caravan for touring, we looked elsewhere.

Us too, though we do use the site, but we also tow when we want a change.

Same for us too, when we were looking for alternative storage earlier in the year.

I started making a map of various storage options - no guarantee it’s up to date, but might be a start. I haven’t used any, so no recommendations. Looks like there’s a few more to add!

Lots more to add. I tried it, years ago, but the list got too big and too complicated, and too time consuming to maintain. Good luck. We store in the Ardeche and there are at least a dozen other options within a few mile radius.

I left our (Pennine Fiesta) folding camper here last year:

It's gone up in price a little, I think we paid Euro 320 for indoor storage, about the same as the cost of taking it through the tunnel twice!

The CAMC web pages list a few. Probably worth a look. I know more people are interested in storing in France now that crossings are getting so expensive.
