We had problems a few days ago on our way back home. At Camping Ste Claire, Neufchatel-en-Bray, we found out last Saturday there were problems. Tried LeClerc nearby, no diesel, local Esso garage and Super U didn't have any either. On Monday morning we had to leave, tunnel booked Tuesday morning, but with about 130 miles worth of diesel, it would be questionable if we could get there. Decided to walk to LeClerc for a bit of food shopping to save using the car, and saw they had diesel! So legged it back to the site and got the car to fuel up. There was a limit of 50 Euros, but that was enough to get us to the Tunnel. On our way to a local campsite near the Tunnel we passed a TotalEnergies station on the A16 near Boulogne. No harm in trying to see if they had diesel, and they did. No real queues to speak of, no limits either, and at 1.77 Euros a litre, cheaper as well by a long way. So topped up, and got our booked train this morning. I think, from what we saw, it's the luck of the draw as to whether a petrol station has fuel at the time you pass it. We were incredibly lucky, yesterday morning we were unsure whether we'd even be able to get to the Tunnel, and we're prepared to amend our booking so we could wait until we could get enough diesel to get us there.
I hope things will ease very soon for those who are trying to get diesel or petrol.
