Has anyone visited this site in the last few years? There are some reviews but they are pre 2010, but all positive. I am asking for my daughter who has three children.
Main question is what is the weather like in August? We have been to the area in May and June but never in August.

Went in August 2004. From what I remember weather was pleasant - not as hot as many parts of France due to its elevation (nearly 1,600ft above sea level). Remember an almighty ,thunderstorm one afternoon but you can get them pretty much anywhere in France in August.

I have only visited that site in June, about 5 years ago, and it is a great site - - I would think really good for children.
