Hi all, just changed my tow car; I can't remember whether I need to notify ATMB of the change of numberplate, or whether it's just the tag itself that does all the magic stuff. I know I need to get a new Crit'Air sticker, but I'm waiting for the V5 for that.

When I changed my company Car last, I just put the tag in the new Car, However, I did have to request a new Tag Holder from ATMB to stick it to my Windscreen, Which I think they charged a couple of quid postage.
It reminds me to request one myself, as my new Car is due to arrive at the end February.

Nothing to do with number plate, the tag does everything.

How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
Thanks all. I managed to find the FAQ just now, that says you can move it between cars, but still good to get confirmation from other forum contributors.
We just changed the tag over when we changed MHs, it does the sign-in/sign-out bit at the péage where the cameras and sensors do the rest to calculate the charge.
Our latest tag now covers France Spain and Portugal. In France it covers any vehicle you are driving but for Spain you need to declare the registration number (and the make and model I think) in advance. It is easily changed in our account on the website.

Good news, Whatamess - from the ATMB website:
“Can I use my electronic toll badge with different vehicles?
Yes, you can use it on other class 1 vehicles (light vehicles), 2 (camping car, caravan, large utility vehicle) or 5 (motorcycles). However, discounts will only apply to Class 1 and 5 vehicles, unless you have subscribed to the Montagnard subscription. In this case, the discount will also apply to Class 2 vehicles.”

The tag goes with the registration so you’ll need to get another one.
Do you mean the Dart Tag?
