Has it already been mentioned that from 14th June Tesco Reward Vouchers will be worth 2 X value and not 3 X value as before. Will make a difference for those of us who use them for channel crossings.

Well, that is better than the Sainsbury Nectar vouchers. I rarely see those anymore and when I do it is something like "£10 off your next on-line shop over £100" and valid only a few days. As if I could afford to spend another £100 with them so quickly.

Mind you, things could get very interesting in our local town. There used to be a large Currys between 2 supermarkets, Sainsbury and Waitrose. Currys closed that branch and it is being demolished. Noticed the placards outside yesterday. Aldi are taking it.

I had the same email. Luckily we are not planning to use Eurotunnel this year. It will take a long time to save up enough vouchers for a future trip!

As this is posted in the Abroad section I assume it's directed to the many on here that use it for various crossings to France, but mainly Eurotunnel.

To say I'm a tad disappointed by Tesco's decision is an understatement.
The 3x is a major assistance when booking Eurotunnel, and will be sorely missed by not just myself.

The supermarket is definitely going downhill, and we for some considerable time have stopped solely using their fuel as it is always no longer the cheapest in our area.

So our overall points garner is a lot less as the years go on.

And no I don't feel the ferry is an alternative, with two dogs leaving in them in the vehicle for the length of crossing is never going to happen.

We are in Southern Ireland. Haven't got an email (yet) re change to 2x value. I just booked our ferry from Rosslare to Cherbourg. I had €90 worth of Tesco vouchers. Once I went into through the Tesco link to Stena, the price went up ad the ferry was only €17 cheaper. What a scam. I wont bother going to Tesco in future, its not worth it.
