Hello, I'm looking for recommendations for a site that has mobile homes for rent on the north coast of Brittany. I wondered if anyone had any favourites? I've tried using the site search - there are several for the south but not so many for the north. I'm particularly keen to visit the Cote de Granit Rose area. Thanks in advance.

Camping Tourony at Tregastel is one we have known for many years. There are just three reviews on here so it seems that few other British visitors know of it. It is at the heart of the Granite Rose coast but not isolated.. Their website gives details and prices of the rental accommodation available.
An update - I have looked at the Brittany Tourist Information site and have narrowed it down to 3 campsites in the Erquy area - has anyone stayed in any of these sites I wonder?
1) Camping Saint Pabu Plage
2) Camping les Roches
3) Camping La Vallee Thanks in advance.

We would endorse Netherton’s recommendation of Tourony. We loved this campsite and the general area - much more than Pabu Plage area. Tourony is near enough to walk to Ploumanach, walk around the granite rose coast and we cycled into Tregastel. The beaches are lovely and the town/villages really pretty, good restaurants etc and near a supermarket. The campsite is very attractive and not too large. We have been a couple of times and will return.

I read your initial post but didn't respond as I thought you're looking a bit further west than Camping La Vallée. We stayed there last year, end of August, busy little site. We were staying in one of their Mobile homes (too long a story for here) so can't comment on showers etc other than to say we had a look and found them to be good a very clean. Very friendly owner and was very helpful when we needed to print some documents for our return. A few pitches were up steep slope and we witnessed a couple of motorhomes struggling a bit to negotiate a tight turn. The main body of the site is in a narrow valley and the pitches looked well kept but not particularly large. Bread etc available to order and a small stock of essentials at the office. The beach is a short walk. Erquy itself is a short drive and has a wide choice of seemingly very popular restaurants and cafés. We would definitely go back. I didn't leave a review because our stay was in the aforementioned mobile home which had all facilities inside, which was by the way excellent, booked at short notice and only 300euros for the week!

I looked back in a notebook of sites we have stayed in and saw that we had stayed for one night in Saint Pabu Plage. We had intended staying longer but left as the site was a bit soulless and there were quite a few teenagers hanging about - we had chosen to pitch in a quiet area so probably why they had gravitated towards this part. Hedges were pretty high and we just didn’t like it. We headed to Tourony and stayed there. The only other note I made was that the showers were good. I chose it because of the good reviews on here but sites are quite a personal thing really I suppose.
I think I did leave a review but noted afterwards that quite a few of my reviews were not published that year whether an error on my part or what I don’t know.

But these three aren’t in the Granite Rose area which you originally asked about.
Hello everyone and thanks for all your replies. Yes, our search has shifted slightly Netherton as we decided to go for an earlier return ferry from St Malo. So I'm definitely going to look at all the recommendations above, as I appreciate everyone's input.
I'm out of practice in terms of caravannng in France - we used to keep our caravan at Logis du Breuil near Royan but we sold it last year. So now I have to rely on mobile homes for my French fix.

Be interesting to see how you find using mobile homes in comparison to your own van.

bofs I agree, it's going to be a change. But somehow the campsite life is calling me - rather than AirBnb etc.
We used to visit Le Croix de Vieux Pont (mainly for Disneyland Paris) for years when our children were small and always stayed with either Thomson AlFresco or Canvas in their mobile homes and lodges. But that was a long time ago.
The most recent mobile we hired was in Frejus in 2019 - it wasn't great and we left after 3 nights!
