Hi all,
Long time member but been absent for a while as I have been without a caravan for a few years but now have a little campervan. I am going on a little European road trip in May.
Can anyone tell me if French/Dutch/Belgian and German EHU sockets are the same? If I buy 1 european adaptor will it work on sites in those countries, or do they all have different ones? I have only ever used a French one before but got rid of it when I sold my caravan.

And if anyone has a recommendation of where to get one that would be fab. TY.

Most sites we have been on use the standard blue connectors. Adaptors are available for older European sockets.Towsure do a blue plug to older European plug adaptor for a few pounds.Worth buying.
They will fit French, German etc.I have one but it's not been used for ages.

Large supermarkets in France and branches of Decathlon also sell the adaptors.

We've toured in France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany and Denmark.

In most of these locations we've used the standard blue plug but, you wouldn't want to get caught out. We've got one type of "European" adaptor and have never had to buy anything different for one of the countries mentionded.

Thankyou so much all. I realised it was over 10 years ago that I used EHU in France so was worrying I would buy the wrong thing.
Such a supportive site !
