We're heading over to Berlin during the middle of May with our motorhome (tag axle), can anyone recommend any sites in or around Berlin that are easily accessible to the city centre. Any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated.
Many thanks

Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
The Site Search shows 2 sites within 15 miles of Berlin, Kopenicker Hof (one review) and Dcc Campingplatz Kladow (no reviews).
Now, there may be more sites but it’s up to us all to tell UKCS about sites missing from the Directory. And if dozens of people have stayed at both sites, it would be helpful if they left reviews.
My back up plan in “empty” areas is Google Maps.
I was in Berlin one Easter on a study trip soon after the Wall came down, it was bitterly cold!
It was some years ago but we stayed at Campingpark Sanssouci, near Potsdam, they ran a mini bus to the tram station to Potsdam where you could take the train to Berlin. On the other side of Berlin (on the same train line!) we also stayed at Camping Jägerbude. There is an hourly train service from Fangschleuse Bahnhof which is about four miles from the site and has excellent free parking.

We too have stayed at Campingpark Sanssouci and can support what David has posted. We liked the site, we were greeted with a glass of wine as it was our first visit too! Good facilities on site.
Potsdam itself is interesting and you shouldn't miss the palace of Sanssouci itself, it's worth a day's visit in its own right. The palace was built by Frederick the Great and is said to be his favourite palace. It's often referred to as the German equivalent of Versailles, having visited both, it's not as grand as Versailles, not as big for a start but we thought it more intimate. The gardens are very grand. The palace also has a significant history in the Cold War.
I've never been, but fwiw a friend of mine who has family over there stays in Potsdam and takes the train in, as David /MrWez said above. Less than 30 mins on the train, much less hassle and a more peaceful place to stay, apparently.
