Hi
Considering travelling to Spain with caravan , for first few months next year “, any recommendations for camp sites not to large ; or rural . We are thinking the further south you go weathers nothing like uk (ideally) .
This will be our first time of doing this so would be grateful of any do’s or dont’s.
Thanking you Jacky
Remember that you are restricted to a maximum of 90 days in any 180 day period. There are loads of sites that would be grateful of your custom for the 90 days. We never worried about any do's and don'ts as we were there to enjoy ourselves.

Suggest you have a look at Bonterra Park at Benicassim. Nice site about 500 metres walking distance from the beach. We stayed there eight times until Covid struck. The site is situated on the edge of the town which is very pleasant. Weather is generally warm and there are several restaurants on the sea front. Like many sites in Spain pitches tend to be fairly tight but the staff allow you to swap pitch if you don’t like the first one. There is a small indoor swimming pool during the Winter but an outdoors one in the summer. If you have bikes there are cycling tracks along the seafront five kilometres and more if you are energetic!! The town is a popular place for Spanish people during the winter including a Paella day when the town is packed with everyone having great fun.
Several times we went further down the coast for a few days just to see what it was like but we were always happy to return to Benicassim.
------------- Mother Nature always wins in the end.
