We only get the Carrefour own brand, with nuoc mam sauce.

Also like accras de morue, but only when cooked fresh (occasionally done in certain supermarkets or at markets).

It's in the bigger cities, hopefully it will be stopped soon. Senseless looting and destruction.
The young guy should not have been shot, but the officer has been charged with homicide.
We are on a site in Loire region, quiet and peaceful.

We have porridge for breakfast home or away. Annoyingly porridge in France even in Lidl is exactly double the price of UK. It’s about the only thing we do bring a few bags with us & tea as well from UK.

As for riots it’s same anywhere. Outside cities it’s all peaceful.

They dam the river every year to make it deep enough for swimming (although there are some fabulous rivers nearby for swimming).
