Has anyone recently used a blue badge parking permit in France?
On the Gov web site for France it says a non EU parking card may not be recognised. The UK blue badge is compliant with the EU parking card but need to display with a French notice and also check locally before parking just wondering if anyones used there blue badge and had any trouble with doing so in France or Spain as we possibly may go into Spain for a day.

Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
The bureaucrats and lawmakers cannot agree on the matter but my friends who have a blue badge say that parking attendants were far more sensible, helpful and accommodating, They parked in disabled spaces if they were available, got out their wheelchair, and displayed blue badge and clock face thing - and were never challenged.
Been to France six times in the last three years, never had an issue, even a very pleasant Gendarme said “no problem”. They really do not seem to be bothered. 👍

I am in France and use a blue badge all the time.
------------- The worst day fishing is better than the best day working
We have even used my wife’s badge in the US, South Africa, New Zealand, Swaziland (Eswatini), Australia, Lesotho, Mozambique, Malta, Turkey and a dozen or so other EU countries. Never a problem whatsoever.
Intend taking it to Canada next year……….Unless anyone knows any different!
