Can anyone please advise what the weather is usually like on the bottom of the South West coast Biarritz and below, we usually go along the languedoc Roussillon coast but my husband found it far to hot last year but I enjoyed it. Is the weather likely to be more unsettled and cooler on this side? we go last week of August first week of September. Thanks

"Cooler" than Languedoc Roussillon but don't be surprised to find temperatures in eighties regularly - pretty much what we get in the Dordogne which is further north.
Note that the "rainy days" most likely mean a shower - might be quite heavy for 20 minutes or so.
We did the Biarritz area two years running several years ago. The first year we had what I consider to be perfect weather, sunny but not too hot. The next year it rained almost every day and the wind was so strong the site recommended that everyone take down their awnings. This was in July both times. Being on the Atlantic coast, it can be a bit unpredictable.

Thank you I can live with 80’s would prefer no showers but can cope with 20 minutes of rain.

Thank you, fingers crossed we get a good year with sunshine and very little rain.

At that time of year you shouldn't have to book, so why not try it and move on if it's not to your liking?
I’m disabled my husband has to do everything himself so we do overnight stops but then prefer to get to the destination and stay in the same place, we also like to have a private bathroom it’s one less thing for him to have to do so we have already pre booked the site and paid a large deposit.
