I am starting to do some research/planning for our first caravan holiday to France next June.
We are planning on staying in or around St Jean de Luz for 2-3 nights and working our way up, finishing in Saint Mont St Michel, taking 3 weeks to do so.
Looking for campsite recommendations for St Jean de Luz area. We have a twin wheel 8ft wide van which we tow with a crew cab, so not too narrow. Thankyou

Just buy an ACSI book and go. No need to pre-book sites at that time of year.
Don't forget though that you will be restricted to 56 mph when towing on motorways and 50 mph on other roads so it might take you longer than you think to get to St Jean.

There's only a couple listed on here, and Bord du Mer where we stayed has a rather tight turn at the entrance. However there are several sites very close by listed in the ACSI book and the discount is until the first week in July so a good time to go.

We stayed in Ur Onea in Bidart, 9km farther up the coast exactly midway between St Jean de Luz and Biarritz, and can heartily recommend it, also close to Bayonne and La Rhune mountain railway, 3 days will not be enough. It's also an ACSI site.
