Hi all,
Thinking about taking my brother and his wife with us to Spain, we,d sleep in our caravan, they’d have alternative accommodation , not a tent.
Any ideas for a campsite, we,d get the ferry to Santander then on from there

I thought that all the big coastal sites had that sort of accommodation. Am I wrong?

Playa Joyel at Noja, only a short drive from Santander, direct beach access, 5 mins drive to supermarket.

Where in Spain, and when ? A lot, if not most, sites have mobile homes and/or chalets, but they tend to be sold on a week by week basis in high season, less so in the low season. So if you wanted to travel to the South and were planning an overnight or two, you might not be able to find a site that sells mobile homes for a single night.

We have stayed in our caravan at Camping Alicante Imperium and they have Bungalows and "Barrels" for rent. Its a bit of a walk to the beach etc and you can get on the tram that runs to Benidorm and Alicante. Its a 500 mile road trip from Santander that we broke up staying at Camping Ciudad de Zaragoza. Maybe you could "rough it" for one night.
