If from now you were only ever again permitted to visit 3 regions with your outfit, which 3 would you choose ? I'm thinking of regions the size of a French departement, anywhere within say 1000 miles of a port served from the UK or Ireland, use artistic licence as you want. Trying to see what areas people would be content to consistently return to.

Arthurdent I think this is a great topic, it would be good to find out what sort of holidays these people want from their choices as some will want sun, sea and sand where as others want mountains, rivers, views and others action packed, cities etc.

Thanks all, Brittany is very popular !
I suppose we too would visit different areas now than when we had kids with us.
My own list would be South Brittany (around Quimper to Vannes), Cantabria and a bit of Asturias to Potes (so many beaches, villages and mountains all crowded into a small area) but I'm not sure of the third. I notice my two are very close to ports, I obviously don't like driving long distances .

As Bob / Tina said, feel free to add why you pick those 3 regions
