We are in the Algarve and have been told about a heart worm that dogs can get from Mosquito bites. A local vet has quoted us around £150 pounds for a preventative tablet. Just wondered if anyone has had this done? We think a lot of the local dogs won’t be treated for this and they all seem to be fine.
Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!

I doubt if you would be able to tell if the dog was ill, until it gets really serious.

As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
I used Advocate for my girl. Monthly pipette you squeeze onto their skin above the shoulders, costs about £5 a month.
Protects against fleas and their larvae, roundworms, hookworm, heartworm and ear mites in dogs. It also treats lungworm, whipworm, biting lice, sarcoptes and demodex.
