looking at staying at dieppe before the morning fery, can anyone recommend a hotel walking distance to the centre reasonable cost with parking or nearby

Haven’t stayed there so I would use Booking.com. and trust the reviews.   My instinct is that Ibis Budget Hotel at about £60 will be be clean and functional, but Hotel Mercure La Presidence at about £120 will be smart and comfortable. So what’s your budget?

Do you mean the centre of the town, or near to the port? The Quai Maritime splits the two with a longish walk around from one to the other.

There are plenty of hotels and private apartments offered on booking.com, many on the 'town' side, all of which have nearby parking, and there is a lot of parking in Dieppe between Rue Marechal de Foch and the beach with plenty of hotels and apartments along there. From there you can walk quickly down therough one of the side streets to all the bars and restaurants around the harbour.

If you're willing to camp go to Camping de Vitamin just outside town, they have a nice swimming pool and an Aldi next door.

We stayed at Ibis Budget in Dieppe in November, Paying I believe £50 a room a night, Minutes Walk from the town centre, 5 to 10 min drive from the ferry Port. Whilst the Hotel had Chargeable Parking, there is Free Parking accross the road from the Hotel,

just somewhere clean and comfortable with bars and restaurants within easy walking
