Just incase anyone is interested Brittany Ferries are waving the registration fee if you sign up before 22nd February for the Club Voyage. We got an email today unfortunately we have already booked for this year and you can’t add it to an existing booking.
Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
Oh well, I'll console myself with the thought that if I didn't join then book when we did I wouldn't have got the crossings I wanted (I don't know if that's true but that's what I'm going to tell myself).

Out of interest does the Club Voyage “pay for itself” as it were with 1 long trip or do you need to do several each year?
Thanks
We've got two crossings booked this year, one with the car and another with the motorhome, the discounts we got covered the costs, we're paying less than we did for equivalent trips last year.
Then there's the discounts you get on board with food and drink to be factored in so I'd say for us it was worth joining. With them waiving the joining fee I'd definitely go for it.
You also get a friends and family code which others can use, you get a discount off of your following years membership fee based on the number of people who book using your code (up to a maximum limit).

Probably still cheaper to use a friend's discount code as the new Club Voyage does not offer as much as the previous version?
They've put them all back up to the original level of discounts as far as I can see.

Having looked at it again one page
contradicts the opening page that is linked directly to the Menu/Club Voyage Very confusing!
From what I can see, the benefits are the same as those introduced for memberships taken out after November 2021.
Fortunately my membership dates from before then, so I still get 30% off all crossings, which means I more than get my money back on 1 return crossing. Under the current benefits it would probably take a couple of return crossings to make it worthwhile - all depending on when you travel.

Does the 30% discount work during peak times? (E.g. half term, august)?
I get 30% discount all year round but only because I started my membership before November 2021. Since then, the discounts change according to the time of year, ranging from 35% in the winter months to just 5% in the peak summer months, so not so straightforward to work out whether it is worth joining.
The 'old' (pre Nov 2021) and 'new' (post Nov 2021) discounts are very different.
Discount for member sailings to and from the country of the scheme you belong to, i.e. France for CV France or Spain for CV Spain:
Joined pre 16 Nov 2021 - a flat 30%.
Joined on or after 16 Nov 2021- vary between 5% and 35% (CV France) or 5% and 30% (CV Spain) dependent on date and day of sailing.
Discounts for member sailing to the alternative country ie. sailing to/from Spain if you belong to CV France or to/from France if you belong to CV Spain:
Joined pre 16 Nov 2021 - 10% saving on all sailings for CV France, 15% for CV Spain
Joined on or after 16 Nov 2021 - between 0% and 15% depending on date and day of travel for both.
These savings apply to fare only, not additions such as cabins etc.
The Friends and Family savings are also different.

Joined on or after 16 Nov 2021 - between 5% and 10% discount, up to 8 uses by F&F, £80 max credit to member
