Yesterday, I bought a Lebara SIM in France (15€ - 50GB Internet plus unlimited calls and SMS in France, plus 2 hours calls to UE & DOM).
I configured the APN according to the instructions and Lebara network shows on my home screen The SIM has been registered and shows as active on the Lebara.fr app but with a zero balance. Data roaming is on but I cannot access the Internet or make or receive calls.
Lebara chat is not available today (Sunday). I've checked again and again but can't see what I've missed. I've used a Lebara SIM in previous years, without problem.
I've tried as dual SIM (selecting Levara) and as single SIM but can't get a peep out of it. I suppose I could try adding another monthly package online (using site WiFi, as now) but that negates the point of buying a 15€ SIM which is supposed to include 50GB data etc.
Can anyone who is tech-savvy please offer any advice?
Thanks.

I have a Lebara UK SIM that worked fine for data in the UK but when were in in France in May would not access the internet. I used campsite access to "Google" the problem and on Lebara`s pages there was a fix - - it was just a simple change in the "settings" menu. I can`t remember what I did but it was very simple.
Like badger54 above, we both have a Lebara UK sim, which both always work fine in France. But we do always get a text message from them once we're in France with info on how to change settings if there is a problem (which we've never had, so didn't need to change anything). So I'd say you'll need to change something in "settings", but unfortunately couldn't tell you what exactly, sorry.
This is a French SIM,activated in France (Levara.fr). I've reconfigured the APN in settings and checked against instructions on the Lebara website plus those on the packaging. I've registered the SIM (and received message confirmation that was successful) and tried re-starting the phone. All I can ascertain when logging on to the Lebara website is that the SIM shows as 'active' but with a nil balance, which is very odd as it's supposed to facilitate internet, calls and SMS. It's very frustrating!

Try changing your phone language to French & region to France in settings. Or possibly just changing region to France & leave language in English. If you have an iPhone go settings/ general/ language & region.

I tried that as well, Billy. We ended up going back to the store today and they had a tech-savvy guy who said he'd take a look. An hour and a half later, after he'd tried everything I'd already done and got the same negative result, he put a replacement Lebara SIM in, which worked instantly! So, countless hours wasted and it was a faulty SIM, all the time!
Thanks to everyone who's replied, it's much appreciated.n
The 2nd Lebara SIM stopped working after a day! After an age on 'chat' (after we'd ascertained that everything was indeed set up properly) and a 'reset' from the Lebara side, I was informed they're currently transitioning to the Orange network and this is causing some problems. I was told to 'give it a couple of days'. It now seems to be working okay.
I was credited with additional data, for the trouble I'd had. There's no way I can use it as we'll soon be back in the UK, but it was a nice gesture.
