We use Brittany ferries once a year in the summer holidays . I’m looking at joining the club voyage for next year’s trip. It would cost us £120 this year to join and we would save £55. I have been told we will also get vouchers to spend on board which would equate to 50 euros. Is that each way?
Is there any other benefit to joining?
Is there any other way of getting a better discount as the ferry is looking at £1000?

New member benefits are not the same as 'legacy' members.
I get 30% off sailings plus discount daytime cabins and can also access the vouchers for food - we never eat at the on-board restaurants anyway. Our recent trip has cost us (ball-park without looking it up) £480 car under 5m and caravan slips in just under 7m. We tend to go over twice a year ans save a lot of money each time. I think the new member discount varies according to date and time but I'm sure somebody will explain it fully.

For peak season you would get 5% off the basic fare - but no discount on overnight cabin costs. There are food vouchers, meal discounts and the possibility of a day cabin on certain sailings too. But if you pass on your membership code to other people you also get a £10 kickback each time for following year (maximum £80 that way) . Do the maths.

I have been a member for around 12 years, so yes, it is absolutely worth it. But for new members I am really not sure, you may be better off just using someone else’s number and getting 10% off. As Netherton said, do the maths. 👍
