Hi
Without going through the whole rigmarole of a 'fake booking', I cant seem to find the crossing times of the Brittany ferry(s) from Portsmouth to Bilbao.
Could anyone supply the info?
How long?
What time do they sail?
Daily/Weekly/?

Timetable makes it look as though the ferry gets there overnight, but it’s actually two nights on board the ship.

Thanks for the info everyone.
Think I'll stick to the much cheaper option of Dover to Calais and drive down (again).

Many years since I've done the ferry to Bilbao (from Portsmouth), first time was with P and O, which was lovely, like a mini-cruise, with free Whale watching lectures and spotting guide, second time was Brittany, no where near as enjoyable, different course with no Whales to be seen, and the ship was pretty ropey too! No caravan, just the car.
But have looked at getting down to southern Spain to friends who live there in more recent years, both with and without the caravan, and not sure the channel ferry and road trip totals up to a lot different to the Bilbao ferry route cost!

I generally pay around £200 - £300 for a return Dover to Calais.
I've just returned from Frejus SoF and the fuel costs me around £350 (also return), and then there's the tolls to add on approx. £250 (return).
I've priced up the Brittany ferry and it came in at over £2300 for a family of 4.
This is without my caravan.
Obviously it is more with the van on, but then so would the Brittany ferry be.
I have done the sailing to Holland from Hull, but I fancy Spain, so I'd drive from Calais for obvious reasons.
