Just starting to plan 2025 - going a bit earlier, beginning of June and coming back 3rd week so can use ACSI.
With this in mind, any suggestions of sites in the Lot/Correze ?
We'll probably have a few nights at Port de Limeuil first and would ideally like something similar - good bar and restaurant, pool (but don't need a lot of waterslides etc as just the two of us) ideally river or lake access and cycle routes nearby.
Good access to a town/village would be a bonus as my husband uses a powered wheelchair.
A lot of the popular Dordogne sites tick the boxes but we 'did' a lot of the area in 2021 and only really going back to PDL as it's such a great place to relax for a few days
I know I can search on a lot of these criteria but we have often found that sites don't have all their facilities open in June or don't have much of an atmosphere outside the peak season so would appreciate guidance on that.

Going upriver a bit, and away from the busy area, brings you to Beaulieu sur Dordogne, probably my happy place! Walking distance to the village; top restaurants with modest prices ( do try Côté Dordogne); site is on the banks of the river. Entrance is tight, but there’s a back way in for larger MHs. One camper described it as “Paradise!”. Not far wrong.

Camping Paradis de la Plage, (ACSI 19 euros0 at St Cirq Lapopie. A riverside site, likely to be quieter in June than Port de Limeuil, but still buzzing. An uphill walk through the village, to the lively village of St Cirq Lapopie with loads of bars and restaurants. Or at the top of the hill is La Truffiere (ACSI 19 euros). We've stayed on both, but a few years ago and would go back. To the east of Cahors (in my opinion) is the nicer part of the Lot.
We've also stayed along the Cele river, just to the north, and had a great holiday on a non-ACSI site - an enforced stay when our storage campsite was under threat of floods. It was August, and we were desperate, but had a lovely time at La Moulin Vieux at Brengues, which doesn't seem to want to appear on the Eurocampings website, which is playing up. We had one of our best campsite meals in the restaurant there. It's rural and a bit 'wild' but we liked it.

If you want to save €19 per night at La plage, there is an aire between the site and river, literally on river bank, for €6 I think. With full access to bar and beach etc. lovely area, and the walk up to the village well worth it.
Is that for motorhomes?
