looking for a lively campsite in a lively town with bars and restaraunts walkable for middle aged couple on the coast, walkable to the sea, i know its late but some of our faves around marsellian and vias are already booked

Try St Marie la Mer. There are some largeish campsites, but you can also walk into the small town which has a number of bars and restaurants. It's near Perpignan.
