Hi, can anyone advise me if its still possible for overnight stays on the France side of the tunnel? We travel back very early in the morning and want to stop as near to it and I recall an article somewhere that said you could stop in the parking area.

Have been told bu various people that you can stop in the service station areas and they even have electric hook up and dont charge much at all

We are planning doing this in July when we do the tunnel at 10pm on route to Vendee via Le Mans

Just returned to the UK via the Tunnel but not sure where you would stop. The Parking area is the other side of the toll booths. There is always the parking area at the Port of Calais. Because I was concerned about arriving at Folkestone too early I e-mail Eurotunnel. Their reply was that there is plenty of parking space but they did not encourage customers to turn up more than two hours before the booked departure.
