Very good site. Yards, literally from a very long beach. Hotel beside site. Four Star award winning site.

have to agree Caseys is a very good site  and nice beach. Can be very busy high season,Killarney have some nice sites but you have to travel to beach, and it is the other side of country. If you are willing to travel nice site in Ardfert small but next to Banna beach and hotel.Great entertainment for kids in hotel at night.Ardfert is just outside Tralee in Kerry.

Just got back from Ireland last week. We stayed at camac valley just outside Dublin, very nice well ordered site. Then travelled along N4 and N6 to Galway. Route was OK scenery through the middle quite average. Galway city not very nice except the harbour area. We then made our way up to Clifden, a lovely town, and stayed at Shanaheever camp site, again very nice but more basic than Camac valley. After driving the Sky road, very scenic would recommend taking the high road - viewing area at the top, we had a couple of nights at connemara camp site near Tully Cross. Long narrow site with sheltered hookup area, but also a higher area right by the beach - couldn't ask for a better view.

Drove back via Westport, a nice town, with a bit going on.

Would say that a lot of the villages are tiny, sometimes only a shop, or a few houses, and not always sign posted, so you've driven through before you know it. Signposts are also a bit vague with lots of B+B's advertised but no road name. Roads vary a bit, can be quite bumpy and it always seemed to take longer than anticipated to get anywhere.

We are 2 adults and as this is a very rural area didn't see a lot for kids to do other than the beach. Scenery pretty good though, but some parts a bit run down looking.

I'm afraid you're going to be disappointed, the Guiness is anything but cheap.

Great pubs though and smoke free

Sorry I can't help with sites, it's longet than I care to remember since I camped there.
