We're going camping in Iceland soon - two nights in Reykjavik at the Youth Hostel campsite and then 4 nights somewhere a bit further inland.

I just wondered if any of you have camped in Iceland and can share any tips about which the good sites are.

Cant help with the campsites but just had to say what an amazing place it is, i hope you have a great time. Take lots of money if you are planning on having a drink or eating out - i mean lots !! We went for 4 days - admittedly it was a football trip so were drinking a bit, cost hundreds - they take credit cards on the bar to pay for drinks. The whale watching trips are great - as is the blue lagoon.

My thoughts exactly! Judging by the advice on the other posts on this thread, I would guess that it's somewhere near the 'frozen seafood' aisle!
