Can anyone help, we are staying in a caravan on euro campsites, are duvets provided or blankets? also are there safety deposit boxes available on the sites

Depends what you are staying in! but what i remember of eurocamps sites is that you have to provide sheets and pillow cases and they provide blankets -no duvets- so you will have to take your own if you want them. Most campsite receptions have safety deposit boxes. if you are in a tent you could use the glove box of your car thats what we have always done with no problems. In a static you can lock the doors and windows but we have never ever had any problems with security on any eurocamp site.

Never been with Eurocamp in caravan but have been with Keycamp and Canvas and neither provided duvets so we took out own quilts and sleeping bags. I do recall tho that Haven in the UK used to, and perhaps still do, provide duvets and freshly laundered duvet covers.
I am sure the brochure or website will answer your query. Either way you will have a great time I am sure. Where are you off to?

When working as a courier we told customers to follow the rule of thumb that whilst Camspites are no more prone to thefts than similar places in Britain, they are not really that much better - there are criminals all over the world- so, much like Britain, if you take care of your valuables you would be very unlucky to have anything bad happen to you.

Unfortunately one customer for Keycamp did have his mobile phone stolen. When his courier asked what happened he said that he had been texting a friend outside his tent when he went to join his family for a swim, leaving his mobile on the table for well over an hour.

So should you take care of your belongings safety boxes shouldn't be needed - though they usually are available from the main reception.

As for blankets - if I remember correctly, Eurocamp do provide blankets, but unless you are at a fly drive site they do not provide duvets or sheets, so I would take them or a sleeping bag.
