Going camping in France - La Rochelle early Sept 2005 ... only ever camped in UK &Holland have never used an electric hook up b4. How does this work in France and what do i need to buy etc etc please help

You will need the following:-

25m hook-up cable with a circuit breaker incorporated.( have a look here http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/redirect.asp?redir=http://www.towsure.com/default.asp?t=252&p=0&d=56 )

A continental 2 pin adaptor

Polarity tester

and ideally a switch over cable as this will prevent you needing rewire one end of you cable should you come across reverse polarity.

if its any help, I just got a 3 gang Sunncamp EHU. Built into this is a polarity tester.

Wish I'd known this b4 I got one. But hey, it was only a few quid in Maplins
