We went to france in June this year and it was mid thirties pretty much every day in the Puy de Dom region. Lovely but we didn't do much walking it was just too hot for that but made us relax lots!

As I'm sat here in the office on our campsite in the Loire, it's a comfortable 23 degrees inside, and around 28 outside. The sky's blue, the air's clean....what more can you ask for? The forecast for the next week is sunshine all the way!
Third year in a row camping and I've decided not to go next year because the weather is too hot in my opinion. Isn;t that a great complaint I hear you say. Nah, it's just too bloody hot from midday to about 7pm. Trying to keep cool is the main battle. Can't stay in the pool all day either.
Vendee for two years and Loire last year. Imagine going to the Med in this weather or Spain. like our neighbours did in July. Couldn't let the kids out to play it was so hot. Are you mad. It's Eagle Point in West Cork for us next year. The weather at the moment is perfect in Ireland. Save a grand on ferry fare etc etc.
Nah, time to give it a miss.
Your just choosing the wrong time of year. I was in Rouen, Paris, Nancy and Strasbourg in February this year and there was snow every day. Luckily in France they are actually capable of salting and ploughing the roads so caused no inconvenience at all. Expect the ferry would be cheaper too!

Just got back from 3 weeks in France - 1 week in the Jura, and 2 weeks in the Ardeche - sunshine all the way until the last day (which made the idea of coming home a bit easier - and the return journey up the A7/A6 in France a lot cooler in the car!). Temperatures in the 30s, but when it got too hot you just slept in the shade, on the lilo in the lake, or on the canoe in the river!

Boooooo- hooooooooo! Don't rub it in! After our two weeks in Cornwall, need I say more........
If it makes you feel any better, we are off to Devon for a couple of weeks on Saturday - the rain will probably make up for lost time and we will get back to reality!!!!

Nope! It doesn't!
I just want another holiday, don't really care that much about the weather I mean my bright flourescent yellow kagoul is just so-o-o-o-o trendy-lol
But at the mo, it's chucking it down here, absolutely torrential wet stuff, almost like being on me hols anyway -lol
We usually go to France but thought we'd try this country this year for a change - usually only do weekends here. Had 2 weeks in Cornwall and it was okay but it's definitely back to France next year! At least when it rains in France it's usually over reasonably quickly and not too cold, days of cold British drizzle were not fun.
