Hello

We are a New Zealand based couple, one half born in the UK. We bought a motorhome in the UK and are now struggling to insure it!! We both have 10 years no claims bonus, and are in our 40's. We plan to spend 2 to 4 months each year in the UK and Europe.

Vehicle is stored near Craigs parents, undercover.

Any suggestions as to whom may be able to help us?

Or could it be done in someone else's name with you as named drivers?

Hi Jan

Have you tried an insurance broker, rather than going direct to the insurance companies?  They will usually make the extra effort to find out rather than just saying no they don't cover it.  Surely other people must have this problem, i.e., if they own holiday properties abroad and keep a vehicle for use there.
