Hi All, Relatively new to all this message board thing. I use to camp in France a lot when i was a kid with parents in the dordogne area, but we usually camped with sunsites or eurocamp.

We are looking at taking our own tent next year - which is very large - 7.5m x 7m. Can any one suggest a campsite with basic facilites (toilets, showers, dish washing, laundry)in both areas please? We aren't worried about club houses or children entertainments

Many thanks

Paula

Try www.campings-dordogne.com. Lots of different types and sizes of sites on here. The size of tent shouldnt be an issue as french pitches tend to be very generous. We used a Diablo 400 this year with no problems.

We stayed at Cote De Nacre at St Aubin Sur Mer in Normandy. Was a nice site not far from the beach. Loads to see and do along all the normandy landing beaches.
