hi all

We got yet another tent to day! The Diablo 900. We are planning a trip to France next summer, visiting Brittany, The Loire and most of the west coast of France, maybe even into Northern Spain-time allowing. Can anyone recommend pitches that will accommodate our size of tent?  Some coastal (? beach access) or inland, not huge and commercial. Small pool (possibly, though not essential), cafe/shop, laundry, showers, toilets. As we have not been to France before, we want to do as much as we can, seeing sights, bit of beach etc.

I know there is a thread for large pitches on uk sites but not for foreign ones.

Good choice France

I think you may mean this summer 2006.

We have 17 acres of rural France in Soumeras, off the A10

Although we only have 25 emplacements, for Caravans and Tourers for electricity and water - we have flat grassed areas for tents, and you can have as much room as you require.

We visited  'LeChant d'Oiseau' last year and their pitches are a really good size, its in Mouliherne in the Loire, beautiful and great for kids, I believe they are having a pool built for summer 2006.  Might be just what you are looking for.
