Yes.  off to the house in a couple of hours.

Heidi could also jump out easily, but does not because she knows it is not allowed

Hi there!  

We (that is, me, my husband and our elder son, who is 34 but still likes to come away with us when he can manage to get time off work!) will be there from 27th July to the 14th August.  We went there last summer for 2 weeks and loved it. We have the opportunity to be away for slightly longer this year, so we are taking full advantage of it.  There is so much to see and do for everyone, whether you are a walker, a climber, a cyclist, or a sit down and be wowed by the scenery tourist! We have a great love of mountain scenery, and many of our holiday destinations feature them... Scotland, Wales, the English Lakes, Austria... and discovering Switzerland last year was fabulous.  Camping Jungfraublick is not a huge site, but it is delightful, very friendly, wonderful view of the Jungfrau itself, near the shops, railway station... etc. etc.  We can't wait to go back! We were surprised to see so many British outfits there... it was almost like being home!  If you want any ideas of places to go or see, just ask!  And we shall be very pleased to say hello in August!  This is a big year for us... my 60th birthday in July followed by our 40th wedding anniversary on 13th August, while we are in Switzerland... fantastic.

We'll be sure to say Hello. We last went to the area 20 years ago so we are really looking forward to it. Its a trip for our Silver wedding so we shall all be celebrating!! Details of our outfit are in my profile so look out for us. What car have you got and I will look out for you?

Will be glad to see you! We have a green Isuzu Trooper, so it's fairly 'spottable'!

Have a great year till then.... we are off to Austria for some skiing with some friends in a couple of weeks, not taking the 'van though! (Staying with some Austrian friends in their house.... can't be bad can it<g> )

Hi all, I just wanted to mention that Camping Jungfrau in Lauterbrunnen is not the same campsite as Jungfraublick, to avoid any confusion.

Glad you weren't put off by last years 'inclement' weather.  It would appear the area has been put back together after last years floods. We will be there from 23rd July to 2nd August nd hope to see you again.

I am aware that Jungfrau is a seperate camp site.

We're looking for one stopover each way, (using Dover Calais) and have so far only found Camping Birkelt in Luxembourg to be near enough on the way. Has anyone got any ideas for the return trip (don't like same stopovers outward and inward)?

Also any one know what Swiss weather is like easter time?

What about supermarket prices (have heard its expensive), and lastly how 'closed' will things be over Easter?
