"Etoile d'Argens" nr. Frejus is really nice... It's situated about 3 or 4 km. from St. Raphael, which is Ideal for exploring the Cote d'Azur by train... The site has a water bus which 'chugs' back and forth between the beach at Frejus Plage and the campsite, which sits on the banks of the River Argens... It has nice Bar/Clubhouse & Restaurants too...
Another site is "Prairies de la Mer" on the coast road, between Ste. Maxime and Port Grimaud... The road, which seperates the site and the beach, can get a bit hectic due to traffic going to St. Tropez (which is just across the bay)...
A little quieter, but only a couple of kilometres from the beach is "Camping La Beaumette" in Ste. Maxime... This is a lovely 'family orientated' town and my personal favourite. It faces St. Tropez, but unlike it's illustrious neighbour, is south facing... Ste. Maxime has day & evening markets and a lovely 'family friendly' beach... The bars and restaurants are quiet and friendly, and not too expensive...
Enjoy your holiday, it's a lovely part of the world!...

I thoroughly recommend Les Tournels in Ramatuelle. We stayed there 2 years running when our 3 were 11, 13 and 15.. However, it is a very French site which might inhibit teenagers who don`t speak any French. It has family entertainment early evening then a prohibition on noise later. However, it has a beech bar/nightclub attached which caters for those old enough (or young enough depending on your point of view) to want to party till the early hours. The part of the site right next this remains noisier than ideal. It has a super pool complex, and direct, although quite a walk, access to the beech.
We looked around Esterel and agreed we might stay there one year. The wild boar come to the edge of the site to eat which is a bonus if your kids like animals. The pool looked good and they appeared to have evening entertainment and more English speaking clients than Les Tournels.
The whole area is very busy in August, if you want to drive along the coast between St Maxim and St Tropez, do it early morning or expect to sit in traffic jams. However, whilst in such jams the scenery is interesting, at least as far as teenage boys are concerned lol.
Hope this helps.

I Can't think of a site in the area, that isn't suitable for teenagers... All the sites seem to have a large contingent of 'teens', who spend the evening/night posing, preening and flirting with each other (they're hilarious to watch)...
There's plenty to do, on the site, the beach and in town St. Raphael/Frejus... Don't worry about being 'foreign', there are French (of course!) British, German, Dutch, Scandinavians, Italians etc. etc... And you've guessed it, they nearly all speak perfect English and are only to happy to 'show off' their linguistic skills (apart from the British, that is!)... Your 'teens' (boys and/or girls) will love it!...
