Hi BB

This site appears quite frequently on this website - you could do a search for it.  This is what I wrote about it as a review.

We too stayed at Les Quatre Vents a few years back.  It is a friendly site in a very rural location but only a few miles from Disneyland Paris.  One could buy tickets for DL at the site and they even kept the security barrier open for those returning from the DL late night parade.

The rail station adjacent to DL gives fast access to central Paris.  As well as visiting DL we, also, went into central Paris by train and toured all the main sites.  Family ticket for rail and museums were available at good discounts at the Rail station.  Paris is "relatively" quiet in high summer as the Parisians are away on their hols!!

The site itself is pleasantly set in orchard surroundings, we could pick apples from the shady trees on our pitch!  There is a small pool and some other games facilities but it is generally quite a quiet site.  A mobilie baker's shop called on a daily basis but there are no other shops nearby.  The site can be booked through the Camping and Caravan Club.  We did that as it was our first time in France with a caravan, but it may well be cheaper to book direct.

I would recommend the site but it was not "all singing, all dancing" re facilities for children and it is not very near to shops, etc.

Best wishes

Tim

I agree with Tims view about this site.

There ia a huge shopping Mall near Disney called Val D Europe, which sells EVERYTHING - even novels in english! I was amazed at the size and choice there, fantastic. You could even pick food from the deli and sit down and eat it in the store, probably there take on instore cafes. You can book direct, but its not much cheaper

We booked through the Camping and Caravanning Club last year too.

Bon Chance!

No shops, apart from a very small grocery in the village of Crevecoeur. But they do have a 'snackcar' in the afternoon where you can get food and drinks.
Shops are in Maux, which is just 10 mns driving.

Although the site is not all singing and dancing I noticed that kids felt OK. As it is a quiet site they could easily run or even cycle around without bumping into cars driving around etc. Especially the very large pitches and space is a plus of this site. It depends on the children whether they primarily need playing tools or primarily the space to run and play around.

Hi

Definately recomend this site.  Out little uns were 8 and 6 last year and we loved that they could go about themselves.  We felt this was a VERY secure site for kids.  Traffic is kept to max 5 miles an hour - we stalled often it is so slow.  Gates are kept shut at all times and a adult has to open them.  Great site if you want to enjoy your kids and time with them - there are not very many distractions.  Pitches are huge.  If I have a complaint at all about this site it was that you have to hold down the tap press top to fill a basin for washing!! - Knew I should have booked a washer.  There is a reasonably large supermarket at Tournan en Brie which is only about 10/15 minutes away and is very easy to find - camping will give you directions but it is directly east on the map just off the N4.  There is also a great shoe shop in same complex which sells great school shoes at a fraction of the cost of here.  Have been for last 3 years and will be back this year.  Havent been to Clarks for long time - we stock up in Tournan!!

We've just booked our ferry so planning already.  When are you going?
