Hi,
Our first choice of campsite (le bois maisson) is now fully booked, has anyone stayed at either Le Clarys Plage or Le bois Joly in St. John De Mont?
Requirements are quite a lively site for two teenage lads, walking distance to beach and town.
Someone mentioned earlier Brem sur mer but I cant seem to find any site close to anything else
Any help would be appreciated (I have a wife going mad at me for not booking earlier)
Sorry for all the questions but it is our 1st time to France
Daz

About 3yrs ago we stayed at Acopolco which is next door to Le Clareys, we met a family from Stoke who had managed to find some residential wrist bands they use for the pool complex, being the honest sort of people we 'English Abroad' are, we used to share the bands, in order to use the pools, as the waterslides were better than the ones we had on our site, as with most sites in France they were both very clean with excellent toilet facilities and decent enough entertainment (well, the kids were happy), the large town mention previously is call St.Gilles which has a marina, that is nice to walk around in the evening, as a whole this area is as good as any in the Vendee and I would recommend it to anyone with a young family, as the coast is safe with lifeguards on most beaches,
best regards, Martin
