This years Hoildays are booked and all planned, so have been thinking for next year. We have been thinking we would like to try Spain as we will have done france for the last four years.
Mooching about the net for a ferry price for 1 car 2 adults and 3 kids and have been horrified at the prices quoted of around £1000. Are there cheaper prices out there? Or will we be driving through france to get there?

If you are going at peak times £1000 is the price, I don't think you'll get it any cheaper.
It's cheaper to fly there and hire a car.

Hi there,
It gets worse. If you go on the ferries to Spain in the autumn and on the run up to Christmas the boats are full of folk who are on 'Four day Mini Cruises' (Their words, not mine). Most of them are OK but a significant minorityuse it as an excuse to get smashed out of their minds and damn anyone that gets in their way.
