    What time of the day do you try to check into the CG's (campsite's) when your on the road for several days ?? stopping each night.. TIA

There was me thinking that this was about check in times for AIRPORTS when I saw Florida as the poster!

Got this forthcoming flight to Amsterdam heavy on my mind at the mo. Off on Thursday morning and won't know until then if these flaming hypnotherapy CD's have cured me flying phobia or not!!!

So please accept apologies for post not relating to this thread at all...but I'm getting a bit hyper and flying obsessed

Larry, there's not usually a set check-in time over here. Just turn up. If there's room, you're in. If not....carry on up the road to the next campsite. If you're looking to stay at municipal sites here in France then round about 4pm's a good time.

It will depend on the time of year and the popularity of the campsite. Some of the popular Municipals, like Beaune, start to fill up by 3.00pm but others its just a case of turning up before the Guardian shuts up shop for the evening. Often on a full facility site if reception is closed you can usually find somebody to help in the bar.
