try this site, it might help, you type in what you want to say then tell it to translate from English to Spanish, or whatever language you want to translate to, e.g
english to russian
english to chinese
english to french
etc etc

You should.
Asking is free. And the better restaurants (which also may be small one person managed bistro-like places) are willing to do it.
Some even like it a lot. In Curacao I used to give the chef carte blanche: just surprise me. Or go ahead, but no fish. Or I prefer fish today. Or I like spicey or sweet today... I got some real gems on my plate.
Sometimes you have to convince the waiter/waitress, especially if they a apprentices, as these are not always used to carte blanche, but the chef usually likes it a lot. Good chance they come out to check what you think of it. Side effect: service usually becomes better... They seem to think you are a connoisseur...
Plus: it was cheap. As these things were not on the menu they would charge the price of the menu of the day! And that is the releatively cheap menu!
I must admit, we started to know that chef, but he really like it. This type of freedom is a challenge for them.
It's all about the creativity of the cook. If they can't, don;t come back there. If they can: good place to remember.
