We stayed there on the way back to Boulogne at the end of August last year for two nights only so we didn't see much of the area but had an excellent day at Mers-les-Bains, at the market in the morning then on the shingle beach in the afternoon.

The campsite was tidy and the two sanitay blocks clean, the owners spoke excellent English and were very helpful with information leaflets etc on the area, the majority of people staying were British. Our daughters enjoyed the swimming pools. The only problem was a few of the pitches had standing water after some very heavy rain.

We would stay there again this year if we were going via Boulogne but I think we are heading to Dunkirk

Yep it's a great site...stayed there last year on the way down to the Loire and would deffo use it again.

Well fingers crossed we are off tomorrow morning for this site and according to the guides it is a good site so will let you all know in a weeks time.
