We have folding camper and we are hoping to go to france this year for 2 weeks and we are looking for campsite within 2-3 hours from paris euro disney. Would like somewhere with lake and possibly pools as we have a very active daughter so need to tire her out so we can enjoy the wine. I will look in campsite directory but love personel recommendations

I haven't yet been there (going this year) but Berny Riviere has come very highly recommended from many people who have - approx one hour from paris / eurodisney - with lake, 3 pools etc.
I can second Berny Rivierie, we were there 2 years ago and it has everything you need. Huge lake for boating, fishing etc, indoor and outdoor pools, kids clubs, great park, bouncy castles etc. Take away and restaurant on site both good, well stocked shop and only about 11/2 hr drive to euro disney and the site run trips there so you dont even need to take the car if you dont want to.
Hi Gerry, we stayed at Camping Filature last summer in the Auvergne. Lovely area, can't remember how long it took us to get there after Paris but not all that long I don't think. It is in the volcano region and there are many lakes, gorges and walks all around and the site has a river behind it where you can lounge around. Also canoing in many different spots from beginner to white water.
It was 35 degrees last June and we loved every minute of it. You can take the cable car up Mont Dore where the views are fab and go up the Puy de Sancy on weekdays in the car.
Have fun wherever you go.

We are going to Berny riviere near the end of August and this is our first time abroad with fc. After all the comments I've seen I can't wait, eventhough I am going to have to endure eurodisney for a couple of days to keep the kids happy,
Thanks for your replys have looked at camping filature looks great but still tring to find out about Berry Riviere so if you dont mind could any of you give me info on their website.
I'm getting a bit worried now. Our first time in France this July , and nobody has mentioned the site we,vw booked . Les etantg des fleuris. It's supposed to be reallu near Paris, not thatm bothered but it would be nice to know.
Les etantg des fleuris is a great site, stayed there last year. 20 mins from disney, set in trees grear outdoor pool, good bar, superb pitches and very friendly owners. We are going back next year and could not say any negatives. This is the ideal site for Disney and Paris, it is also near all major supermarkets - about 10 - 15 nins away.

Les etang des fleuris and Berny Riviere are both siblu (haven europe) sites from what I can see. Nobody seems to have sent a review to ukcampsite for les etang des fleuris. Does it take tourers and tents?
