Errrrmmmmm, just heard on the news it snowed in Germany yesterday! What on earth is going on with the weather? That's mad. We are looking to drive to Austria in two weeks time cos we are fed up with the cold and wet here - not if it is snowing we're not!!

Oh well, we had snow yesterday in higher areas, not down in the valley (where we live) BUT it is freeeeeezing outside. Temperature this morning was 5°C but it feels much colder, as we've got a strong cold wind at the moment. Forecast says it'll get up to 20 by sunday - I just hope so... Don't forget, we live in one of the warmest areas in Germany...
Don't worry, it is absolutely possible that we'll get temperatures up to the 30s, by the time your coming...
Ali,
We live more in the middle of Germany, and have had almost solid raining since the beginning of May. We had a couple of nice warm days in April then lousy weather then worse. Yesterday it snowed only 60 KM from us (maybe 5 cm) and it was all gone by midday. We'll be leaving on Sunday for Italy and the Toscana region (hopefully leaving the bad weather behind) where it has been registered as 24°-26°C for the last couple of weeks. But as said above, if you won't be coming for two weeks, where he is it could be 30° and here it could still be under 10° and in Austria or Northern Italy..... snow, or rain, or sun or shine, or or or...
